Kristjan and I wanted to return to the legend that is Mt. Baker. We'd gone previously way back in '93.(Kristjan and I in the parking lot of Baker, Christmas 1993) The weather was looking amazing, they'd gotten 2 feet one day in early January, and then the pineapple express hit. Next thing you know, they're closed in the middle of what should be guaranteed powder season. Flights were already booked - we flew in to Abbottsford, picked up Blair and drove into the interior, met up with Peter and rode Sun Peaks and Big White. Snow was good, but they were suffering too. The skies opened up at Big White and treated us to some freshies.

Kristjan in the pipe at Sunpeaks. Today was one of the few days that name actually was true. It's almost always Cloudypeaks whenever I go. Blair in the pipe. What was I saying about Cloudypeaks? Here's Peter hitting our favorite tree jump And me over the same ramp with the vintage Asym Air here. Man I'm either fat, or wearing a lot of layers! Blair with the grab. Group photo at the top of the Burfield quad Blair powers through a little hit on the backside area of Big White. Poor lighting due to the snow and fog, but I think it's a good pic
